Breeding Aenos?
Hi there!
I'm super new to the game (I think this is like day 4 on here?) and I've been trying to breed the Aenos Pony. I had a Tarpan Stud and a Caspian x North African dam (listed in that order on her breed) but the foal was just a "Part Tarpan?"
Am I missing something, or is it a luck of the draw type thing for a new breed?
Grateful for any help you can provide!

Short answer: luck of the draw.
Long answer: In order for you to have a greater chance of that new breed, you'll need to produce foals as close to and within the 5 stars of that new breed. So your foals will need to get-close-to and pass the requirements of that new breed. Even then, it's still a 50/50 that your foal will pop correctly.
Some hints to get you going further: The caspian x north african barb doesn't need to be in that order, it can be WAB x caspian. Plus, that mix doesn't even need to be 50/50 caspian x NAB. It can be Part caspian x NAB (25%), or any other mix therein. Just as long as those two breeds are listed. Same goes with the tarpan. It doesn't need to be pure, but DOES need to NOT name any other breed (so it can't be something like Part Tarpan x Arabian (80%), etc.). Also, it doesn't matter which side is which gender.

This isn't in regard's to your post but this is the only forum page you had open and no one ever reply's to my pings so I just wanted to let you know I was on the home page looking at everyone's new pics of their horses and yours popped up for James P. Sullivan
and she is just the CUTIEST filly I have ever seen!
