Suggestion - A new category called "brags" on the forum

I apologize if this isn't the right place to put this, but I think it would be great if there was a separate category on the forum titled "Brags" (or something like that) where you could post about a new foal born, a recent show win, etc.

What do you all think?

I also think it would be good if there was a link to view new/unread posts on the forum and also a link to view replies to your posts.

• • I think that forums will soon need a lot more categories.
    As soon as more people will start coming here there will be more spam etc... expecially general chat will be spammed.
    I think we need a sticky in Gameplay Questions and Help for redicrection to Guides and How To.
    Some people just see it and click it before looking through forum.
    
    General chat is already very messy - I would suggest having atleast "Animal Chat" and "Fandom Chat" as extra.
    
    I would also move Guides and How To with stickied FAQ to top of the forums.
    
    Two columns for forums would be cool aswell.

There is a link on the front page to view unread posts. You can set up your notifications so that you get a note when someone replies to your topic or a topic you have also replied in.

There is a post in the help forum that links to all of the guides, but it hasn't been stickied yet.

I missed the "quick links" option on the top of the forum. Thank you for pointing that out to me.

I was hoping that someone would bring this up! Love the idea, I think it's great for getting to know what's happening in the breeding world and whatnot. Definitely a way to get people familiar with really good potential studs. And secretly knowing what the competition is.

Yes there definitely needs to be more forums so that people don't feel overwhelmed and just don't participate. i think that these should be the categories that we have plus what we already do (some of these are from other players)

Brag Section (lets you post about any horse or achievement that a player made)
Roleplay (lets players who like story mode to have more fun)
Introductions (lets new players tell a little about themselves and lets older players help or give out newbie freebies
Contest AND a Games section (separate contest that earn prizes from just fun games like pick your favorite horse)
Collaboration (Find a breeding partner)
Clubs (connect through clubs or discord servers)

I also think that there should be a way to contact players in game and not just on discord even if it is just pre approved messages or statements.
There are a few people i wish i could talk to to ask about being breeding partners but i don't know their discord and they arnt on any forums, plus its a pain to try and get to their profile and then find a post and then quote them from it. It works but only if they have posted or commented in a forum before.

yes but that is a bit more time consuming then just being able to send them a message from their page home page, they could add it right beside the add friend or foe button.
Plus it clogs up the forum space having a bunch of different convos that cant be deleted once the thread is done being talked thru.

When you have premium the private message button is right next to the friend button.
Don't worry about clogging the forums. They are very low traffic at the moment. More conversations would probably be good for the game even. If you want a thread deleted just ping me and I can take care of it.
There are some good idea here though and we will look at them when we have a chance.
