Re: Just a few ideas..
This is why grinders have been introduced by the community. There are a lot of players (and more are adding themselves to this every month), that train horses for grinder sales.LunarSilence wrote:so i have an idea. This is coming from me, a new player. I compete my horses alot and none of them have won anything so i started thinking, what am i doing wrong? so i started looking at all the horses my horse has competed against. all horses were fully trained at like 3 years. Thats insanse to me and its not fair for new players to be going against fully trained horses. I can win any money at all because my horses arent fully trained. Theses players have all or probably have all training skills already. So my idea is why not make a beginner upcoming event mainly for new players and have it locked for higher level players. so the new players have a chance to win Because if you think about it, your new, your trying to get money to upgrade training and stuff, but you cant win anything because higher level players keep wining.
Use the player-made competitions to gauge where your breeding project is, when you're ready to create a competition line.
A grinder will not only support your money-income, but will supply enough to purchase the next grinder to replace it. An excellent grinder will be able to compete and earn money in player-made competitions.
Player-made competitions shouldn't really be used to earn the bread-and-butter money that your farm needs to survive, rather they should be used when you find a grinder that appears to be exceptional at local shows. Your bread-and-butter income should be almost strictly earned from locals.
If you're that hard pressed to earn bread-and-butter income, look for a grinder for your farm. Even I have them occasionally for sale, plus I'm one of the fewer grinder-sale stables that don't limit grinder sales to just the new stables. If you're a bit older, but have no grinders, you could still qualify for a reduced or even free grinder.
Do you need a grinder?

Re: Just a few ideas..
maybe a suggestion or question. Will the premium upgrade ever ask for real money to do so? it seems kinda a pain to have to buy 5k pt just to upgrade. maybe it should be pt or real money

Re: Just a few ideas..
It would be nice to have consistent cycles of tack. Like right now only a few colors cost money each refresh. If there was a cycle of colors instead of the same 4 or 5 that would be great for the people who don't want to spend all of their PT for a nice color of tack so you could have some variety in your stables.

It does cycle through, but every time it does, it randomly pulls from the list. If you don't already know, there is a list of all the available tack it can pull from, in the help, guides section. Plus it has what the item costs and in what currency.HOrse haven wrote:It would be nice to have consistent cycles of tack. Like right now only a few colors cost money each refresh. Swing by and place your $1 bid at some point so that I can send him straight over when he's complete. Don't forget to save a spot for him when you do so. I was able to find one on the market that was partially trained already, so if things go smoothly I might even get him done sometime today.LunarSilence wrote:...
