And yes your foal will darken up....most horses will change color till they're about 4 years old. Some lighten and some darken with age. Mostly darken....exception being the greys....as in real horse life any grey horse will eventually turn white and lose their dapples

Most horses have their adult color at 1 year. If the horse carries sooty, it will continue to get dark with age. If it carries grey, it will continue to grey out with age.
