Is this Strawberry Roan?
http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1410767
Looking to name this one's color. And I don't know if it's Strawberry Roan, or Bay Roan
Thanks

Re: Is this Strawberry Roan?
She's bay, but instead of roan, she's grey. Grey on Bay.Kara Kuehn wrote:http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1410767

Bay Roan looks like this, with the paling out only on their body, not their head and legs as well. Grey will eventually fade more until it covers their entire body.

Re: Is this Strawberry Roan?
So what do I label it?

Re: Is this Strawberry Roan?
I'm not sure there's a specific term for grey on bay like with a strawberry roan, because rose grey is chestnut and grey, not bay and grey. I think you'd just call it grey on bay or some variant of that?Kara Kuehn wrote:So what do I label it?
