Gray? Varnish? I'm at a loss.
I have a FriesianxMorgan Stallion that i kept because his color transition was so bizarre. I dont even know.

he has a half brother who is starting to get that light, grayish color too -

I'm assuming it comes from their Dam but is there a name for it? is Charm going gray?

Your horses are starting to varnish from the Leopard gene that gives them their spots. Even if they varnish out enough to look practically gray (not sure if that's possible since I haven't looked into the leopard gene too much in this game), it has different genes than an actually gray horse.
If either of these horses were actually gray, first they would have fully darkened coats at birth (most horses start faded, then become their true color at around a year) and the graying process typically starts around the eyes, from my experience on HWO.
