What recessive(s) did this boy pick up from his parents? Because they are both visually Black.

Re: What Color?
Flaxen chestnut with snowflakes. So both of his parents carry chestnut - meaning they are Ee at extension, and have a 25% chance to throw a red-based foal when bred together. The other 75% would be black.t0xickitten wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 7:41 pm |DEV| MONARCH OF THE TIDES

Re: What Color?
Silver Classic Pearl -> black base with silver, champagne, and 2x pearl.
The sire is visible pearl, the dam has it hidden far back in her pedigree. Visible evidence in this ancestor.

Re: What Color?
Flaxen chestnut at base. The "roaning" is varnish from the Lp gene.

Re: What Color?
Black Snowflake Leopard Tobiano? The black has seemed to lighten as he's gotten older. I adore his snowflakes on his face. Almost looks like he was freckles.

Re: What Color?
You just missed his dun gene. So he's grulla, not just plain black.t0xickitten2 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 1:21 pm Black Snowflake Leopard Tobiano? The black has seemed to lighten as he's gotten older. I adore his snowflakes on his face. Almost looks like he was freckles.
