Re: Happy 20th Birthday Horse World Online!
Happy birthday!!! I'm so excited about the new art, especially the sabino gene!! I'm so glad my friend showed me this game all those years ago, I've never seen another like it <3

Happy birthday HWO!! I've been here for years, (starting a new account now) and i love the dynamic style!
These new textures are amazing
, i prefer them so much more already, you are a great artist! I'm in love with this new mohawk, will it be possible to "cut" the horses mane? I love some of the shorter ones but i didn't want to have to breed it
These new textures are amazing

Happy 20th birthday HWO!
Y'all have really done something special with this game and I cannot overstate how excited I am for new poses/artwork/etc. I keep coming back to this game. You have fostered a truly lovely community.

Ooo wavy mane is pretty! Does it mean the horse has a wavy tail too, or unrelated?

I appreciate all yall do for us, it's an amazing game, and thank you for the gifts!
I can't wait for the new art, though I do have a question;
Will the new horse art include curly marwari ears? Its my favorite feature about them <3

I was thinking about including a gif to express, but these news posts don't allow for that (both understandable and appropriate).

I'll have to wait until more of the posing system is completed before I can give a firm answer though. Also the posing system will come after the overall artwork update, but I'll still be able to play around with poses in the development side of things as it'll be important to keep the various poses in mind what setting up the new art.
If I could suggest (rhetorical

For example, the freisian (baroque) framing. And this framing would definitely (in my opinion) be very breedable for. But that's more of an overall pose more than just a neck or tail set.
Would also maybe be easier to figure out parts, mixes and halfs, if these things are breedable for. Rather than a pose that gets applied in the moment that the breed is named... but at the same part... could make things much more difficult...
Anyway. My vote would definitely be the 'breedable' version for most poses.
Sorry, this is more of a 'My Thoughts' then really being any solid help or suggestions from me.

I kind of also like the ability for the pose to 'Bam!' just suddenly be there when you have the new breed, either born or purchased. That said, the pose might begin to look really weird as we breed further from breed standard (thinking about the heavy, log-pulling arabians, or the racing belgian stock). Losing poses as their other attributes go a little astray should also be something we should have, I think. Not because it's something that'll definitely happen, but because if we don't keep track of these things as well (with all other horse genetics we need to keep in mind, or risk losing each generation), they really SHOULD risk the chance of changing.
Some poses just can't be maintained when dealing with other... I'll say anomalies of the horse form and build. Might be really odd to see a really heavy horse with baroque frame and parked out. And, maybe really neat.

I love the art, it's beautiful!
I was thinking, could the poses be related to temperament?
