Trying to ping someone

Hi tom! I am trying to learn how to ping someone to be able to start a convo with them but i am not sure if i am using the right BBcode. I went thru the guide you posted and it didn't have a ping section that i saw but maybe i over looked it. I saw this one which is the quote one and i thought that was closest but it doesn't seem like it actually notifies YOU that someone is trying to get your attention by using your name just lets the others users viewing your comment to see your name and what you are referencing.

When you quote someone on the forum the player you quote gets a notification. People call that a ping and new players were asking how it works so I made this guide.

Thank you! I have been trying to figure it out and I couldn't find the "ping" option anywhere! So as long as I put the players name into the
