In around 3 months it will have been a year since I started competitively breeding Arabians. I didn't think I would get so far so fast and I am very happy with the results.

I have been lazy with breeding and ended up aging out a good amount of my good stock so most of the horses I have now are bottom barrel. Luckily, I have set aside some mares from previous generations that I plan to take back out to give me herd a boost.

Not too long ago I crossed my herd with some stallions I bred, trained, and tested to boost the heart that had been lost. I haven't trained a horse to test since then so I don't know if it was effective or not. I have a good amount of colts I plan on training and testing. Hopefully they will at least score 55.5+.

I plan on maintaining my Hunter line but I am also looking into developing another breed for a discipline. I haven't decided on one yet. I hope to find a breed that will naturally have the right build for it so I won't have to do as much modifying like I did with the Arabian crosses I have. It would also be interesting to see how much faster I can get a RH/ high scoring horse now that I know a bit more about what affects a horses' scores and how to improve them.

Flaming Roses is my second RH. His highest LS score is 56.53 and his highest PHS score is 56.53. His confo and BR is not the prettiest so I'm not sure how of all the horses he scored so high, but I am not complaining
