To roan or not to roan?

Post by Andraste »

I have a cute little filly that I cannot tell for the life of me whether she is just a cremello, or whether she is a cremello roan. I've tried zooming in as far as I could to see, but her coat is so light it's really difficult for me to tell whether or not the white hairs are there, so I thought I'd ask the community. Lol

This here's my girl=

Her mother has the roan gene, so it's genetically possible, but I just can't make up my mind!

Thank you all for your two cents. ;)

She looks roan to me, especially with the highlight on her cheek. And zooming in in my image program appears to show roaning on her barrel.

No problem. It's so hard to tell on the super light ones. :)
