Last time online?

Last time online?

I was messaging someone and noticed they were offline, I went onto their profile and it said they haven't been on since 1:30 pm (it was 3:25 at the time). They had messaged me "less than a minute ago". What is going on and how can I fix it?

Something like this happened to another player and I when we were messaging. They messaged me, and I responded, but they said that my profile said I was active 15 minutes ago.

Your last active time does update continually. It would take up way too much processing power if it did. Your best bet to finding out if someone is actively online or not is to view one of their posts on the forum to see if they have the "online" banner next their avatar. The last active part of the profile page is much more useful for people that haven't been online in over 24 hours.

Edit: It also may not count certain actions for updating the "active" status. (Such as sending a private message.)

Some people will also do something called 'Hide my Online Status this Session'. Example below:

I've noticed that Veterinarian does this when they play sometimes.
