I think the more dense spots on mine came from arabian breedings too
Yes I thought that too with one of my older horses "Apparently he's awesome" He was Appaloosa x Arabian I think, So get a Shetland x Caspian and breed that with an Arabian....since Caspians control the amount of white that spreads. I've been trying for a Leopard for awhile...but that would be cool to have a dense Leopard like that

I kinda like these Mixed appaloosas. Little bigger than my usual ones, These guys are Heavy-Pony types, most of mine of Medium-Heavy or Medium-Horse/Medium-Pony, But I love the change in color and the Masquerade looks like he's wearing a mask.

Printed Destination is a Medium-Heavy pony type that is 20.0 hh and a Mixed Appy....I am finally getting out of the Grade horses, now that I have a good development of build and white patterns!!

So nobody's posted here for a bit, but I wanted to share three of my awesome babies from today. (My goals are a bit different - I'm trying to breed Lp patterning into my Tchenaranis, even though technically they're supposed to be solid colored. PX)

First are two little fillies that are showing quite a bit of white. :)

And then we have a colt with quite a bit less white, but he's the first full Tchenarani with spotting!

Has anyone else been having this issue? I have a bunch of blanket appaloosas and after breeding 6 mares (all with blankets) to a blanket stallion only 1 foal out of the 6 has a blanket. Am I doing something wrong?

lol no that happens all the time! Luck of the draw like real life scenarios. All horses can carry genes from 7 generations back I believe....so If some of your past horses don't have blankets then that could be causing it.

Best one I have so far and she's a filly too :) I've never had one with so much white on the head, her sire has little white on his face too but not this much.

I have spotted Trakehner project, aiming to get more spots soon, only have a snowflake stallion and a mare.

Edit/ lol! Forgot my best one's big sister who has identical pattern... >.<
