ok sooo I thought for sure he'd be Pangare or lighter and it seems this could be a bug maybe. but one minute he's light and pangare and then the next turn he went to dark Chestnut color.

It could possibly be an affect of the Lp gene. Lp can do some crazy things to colors. Foals can also have some very extreme lightening and then turn out super dark. I'd say it probably isn't a bug but I'm not an expert, so it could be something else.

I'm not normally a fan of snow flakes or this sort of pattern, I'm normally a sucker for the huge spots.....but I gotta admit he really caught my eye!! I think he'll be the ticket for anyone that's coming close to an all white horse or a Leopard.

I like the big spots as well, but those few spot ones are homozygous Lp. So they might still have the big spots when heterozygous Lp, just that you can't see them with the double Lp action. I do keep many of the fewspots for breeding as at least I know they always throw the Lp!

This is one of my fewspots, he has a good chance of throwing me a leopard or near leopard I think!

The one with tighter spots looks quite nice. the AC horse was an arabian.

I think the more dense spots on mine came from arabian breedings too
