Keep in mind, for those of you breeding non-red horses.

lol ya I've had a few black horses that turned out looking brown anyways! But it's all good! As long as they show good and are what I'm looking for!Argent II wrote:https://www.google.com/search?q=appaloo ... 42&bih=936

Is anyone else having luck with tiger eye appearing + lots of white?

I also just put him up for stud. Excited to see how his foals turn out!
-Both of the horses picture above have the same sire (pictured below), he's been giving me some great color combinations. Still working on adding in blacks.

I actually love these splotchy spotted ones, I'm quite happy them being like that and don't feel the need for a full leopard LOL!

Re: Figuring out the Appy patterns (updated)
Thanks!!! I have a Grade stud that has white all over his body, complete with a white tipped nose! Was hoping he wouldn't be a Grade horse, but with any luck he's show good like all my other line of horses have so far! Maybe I can breed him and get a Half Appaloosa foal or something! I can use him to help spread more white into the heard and mix it with the big spots! Hopefully I get get Big spots all over the body and face!Kintara wrote:Nice big spots!

He is not named yet, but here's the newest member, Although he happens to be a Grade also! Hopefully I can use his big spots and lots of white in with purebred Appy's
