Re: Appaloosa
no no no!. lol even if your horse is an older horse before whites were added you can still breed with a white horses and get a foal with white markingsInkiiy wrote:I've got an Appaloosa mare, but I want to breed a stallion with more diverse genetics. The white patterns were just added into the game, does this mean that in order to get the genes into our Appaloosas we'll have to start from Tarpan and Prezwalski again?

Re: Appaloosa
Heck ya! See I have tons of Part Appaloosas that have great spots! But I am looking for a purebred Appaloosa that has a very good spots all over the body, or at least half way up the horse. I'm mainly breed for big spots!Blazing Colors wrote:hi, i got a good herd of beautful lightbuilt appaloosa and i got the patterns in my herd with some of them still beeing light but some throught the shetland and other ponys got smaller and heavier but still nice to look at and i wanted to ask if somebody wants to work with me together to get beautiful built and patterned appaloosas

Re: Appaloosa
hi,
you have so beautiful horses that i used them a lot for getting spots in my appaloosa herd, i managed to get some spotted appaloosa about 90% are mares i dont know why but i really need stallions i have a few part appaloosa and mixed with other breeds from your stallions to get the color and i want to get them pure again but if it is possible with more white and bigger spots. i don#t know how to post picture in here but you'll find my appaloosa in every barn that is called something with appaloosa. and it would be amazing if we could breed together and help each other out

Re: Appaloosa
Funny a lot of mine are stallions! but about 70% of the time I can take 2 spotted horses and I'll get a solid foal. lol I'm going slow right now as to try and keep the Large spots in my heard, But as of now I'm working towards getting Half Appaloosas or Part Appaloosas....I don't even want to see Part Appaloosa x Part Forest horse. lol But it is pretty hard! The large spots appear in about 20% of the foals I get.

And ya definitely I'm all for helping people out! If you want I can lower the stud prices on some if you really need it! We can all work towards a goal!Blazing Colors wrote:hi,

Re: Appaloosa
that is nice to hear! yes it would help a lot if the price are not so high! i looked in my barns and i have one or two appaloosa colt that have white but not really that much but i am hoping to get my part and mixed appas pure as fast as i can so i found out that some with less white can produce more white. i hope the genetics come soon because i know a lot about genetics and with that it would bring us much more foreward with our appaloosa project.

ok! I don't have to many Pure Appaloosas...I think I have one purebred Appaloosa! lol But if you can manage to get some Purebred Appy studs I'll use them! lol

And no joke, but if someone or even you can get a full purebred Appy mare by using my studs I will buy one for $50,000-$100,000
