Definitely Bay dun. I've been trying to breed dun out of my Pindos ponies for what seems like forever. ;) I've seen tons of these.

Well we all agree it's dun. I'm afraid the real horse that is labelled a "buckskin grulla" is mislabeled entirely. This is because buckskin (bay base with a cream gene) and grulla (black base with a dun gene) are mutually exclusive. A horse can't be both bay and black based. The HWO pony is certainly a bay dun. The real horse looks grulla. It might have a single cream gene like a buckskin, but it doesn't show up on black based coats.
Signature? I don't need no stinkin' signature! Everybody knows who I am already!

It is also important to remember that the HWO bay duns can be really, really dark compared to real bay dun horses :)

But as long as they look brown-ish in the head, along the dorsal or on the legs they are bay-based and not black-based
