Foundation Breed Demand

I had one pair that both had average remarks (I can't remember what now) in speed but yet they repeatedly, every single breeding, gave me red speed. Negative speed I could understand, but red? Every time? That confused me.

I understand that there are multiple genes that deal with traits too, and so you can have a horse with 'hidden' traits. So perhaps they both had a recessive poor speed trait that meant they didn't do well bred to each other?

When I have more information from my experiments I'll let you know.

Well, for now, and i need the space aswel. im breeding the arabian horses.. to get good ones there a higher Gen. but i wanna cros those with the foundie s so i get a lower 7gen .
Arabians is what i do now.. but i love to take some other breeds aswel.. later on
