New Breed: New Kirgiz

Post by Baranduin Brewster »

Acquired a new breed, quite pleased with her stats. Looks like a new project in the future.

I bred the first ones on the game but I only needed them for my Budyonny project so once I got my Buds I let them die out.

Thanks...Yeah, I like the legs too, good substance to them, which will hold true into adult hood hopefully. Though doesn't look like a breed for Log Pulling (unless I wanted to breed some of the Intra-types), might do well in the other driving disciplines and/or Saddle Seat.

Thanks. I've been working on them on-and-off for a bit, but had a lot of help at the beginning. Plus they had TB blood in them which helped move things along quickly.

If you're interested in getting them into the strength disciplines I have some Vlads with nice strength that you could use as a starting for new blood. Otherwise you should be able to breed selectively for strength traits since they do have that draft blood in them.

Thanks for the offer, most likely right now...I will just work with them like they are (I will keep that in mind if I change my game plan in the future). I have Russian Heavy Drafts and Soviet Heavy Drafts that really don't have much to do beside log pulling and nothing for the other Driving disciplines.

That's fine, just thought I'd offer. :) Good luck with them!
