Working on expanding my Dutch Warmblood lines and this is the first of my horses that I've seen develop this dark of a coat, which i'm assuming is some form of extreme sooty? I had sooty horses before but never this dark. If you go through his gallery photos, when he was born his coat appears a normal type of a palomino. If you go through his bloodline, his sire's dam also has a similar dark 'sooty color'. Sire appears to be Perlino while dam is Bay Roan

Definitely looks like sooty to me, but WOW. I wonder what makes it so intense on him.
