Some of your horses, it looks like you purchased. The comp is the competition record of your horse and not of the time you owned the horse, but of the horse's history itself. The competition record refers to the player-made competitions. If you click on the records there are a few things you can look at. Some of it is help understanding points and some of it is the actual comps the horse has participated in. Scores, placing and points can help determine if the horse has a talent in those specific competitions.
Talented horses MAY earn you more money participating in the player made comps versus the local shows.
If a horse has never participated in a player made comp, they will have no record. And also, if a player made comp is canceled rather than being run, the comp [should] disappear from that horse and those other horses who were entered into that comp.
