Adoption idea
As I've been trying my best to keep my horses' COI as low as possible and failing at it majorly, I've had an idea that what if it was possible to adopt new horses of a certain breed once you had managed to breed at least one (or more!) individual of your desired breed.
I'm the only player breeding French Trotters in this game so it's impossible to have enough variety in their pedigrees to keep their COIs at acceptable level (max 15%). This option would make the game much more fun if you didn't need to start from scratch every time you needed new blood in your herd.

Re: Adoption idea
I think this has been suggested somewhere in this forum, but I cannot find the thread. I support this as well.

Re: Adoption idea
Its been discussed at a developmental level with admin. Its not been ruled out but the idea has some implementation problems and of course, takes time to code and implement.
Signature? I don't need no stinkin' signature! Everybody knows who I am already!

Re: Adoption idea
I honestly think any breed with at least 300 active horses or a product of breeding two of the foundation horses together should be added.
I hate how the only way to get a better cleveland bay with a lower coi is to completely breed up a new line on repeat again and again and that is just not fun to do. I mean there is always breeding foundation horses into it making the breed temporarily not 100% pure, but that is just sad to even have to do. =/
