Beginner Questions

I've been reading the forums for several days and have not found the answer to this question.
1. Can a pregnant mare "lose" her foal for any other reason than she gets too old? (EX: Too much exercise, too thin, showing while pregnant.)

I don't believe that's been implemented yet, so no. But I thought I read somewhere that in the future that may become a part of the game.
Right now, if your mare is pregnant, she can't even die of old age. However, I've had a couple die the same day they gave birth.
