Searching for Snowflake studs

Post by haltanny »

I am working on a new side project that I am calling Super Snowflakes, inspired by my heavily snowflakes mare "Let It Snow", shown below. I am looking for studs to breed her to that are snowflakes, preferably with small to no snowcap or blanket. They do not need be as heavily marked as "Snow", but more than just a few scatteredspots. Ideal studs would be similar to her sons, also pictured below, or heavier marked. But I will also consider studs that have either a few densely marked patches, or a less dense pattern covering most of the body. I will link examples as I find them. If anyone is working on a similar project or wants to, please feel free to let me know. I am willing to stud out "Snow"s sons and possibly trade fillies.

I don't have any that have a lot of snowflakes, but I have to say that that horse is fantastic!

Thank you! I was going to put her up for sale, then realized I had never seen one with such heavy snowflake pattern. Plus her two sons are looking pretty good, not quite as heavy as her pattern, but very nice.

I'll edit my post and put them in there too.

Just got done looking through your pastures. You have some very cool patterns, but I don't think they would work with what I want.

I am not sure that either of them are exactly what you are looking for, but they have good stats and patches of snowflakes so I though you might want to look at them.
