What colours are these 3?
I wanted to know the colours of my horses, I've had a guess based on real life horses and colours.
Risha = http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/434954
Dusk = http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/435802
Bleeding Rose = http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/440220
Risha = http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/434954
Dusk = http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/435802
Bleeding Rose = http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/440220

Re: What colours are these 3?
My guesses are...
Risha = Mealy Bay (Mealy on Bay)
Dusk = Smoky Brown Dun (1 Cream + Brown + Dun)
Bleeding Rose = Mealy Chestnut (Mealy on Chestnut)
Risha = Mealy Bay (Mealy on Bay)
Dusk = Smoky Brown Dun (1 Cream + Brown + Dun)
Bleeding Rose = Mealy Chestnut (Mealy on Chestnut)

Re: What colours are these 3?
I agree with Dev on Risha and Bleeding Rose but I think you, Brighty are spot on with Dusk being grullo. The lighter areas look like Mealy to me (instead of Cream).

I think we might both be wrong. x'Dnyraeia wrote:I agree with Dev on Risha and Bleeding Rose but I think you, Brighty are spot on with Dusk being grullo. The lighter areas look like Mealy to me (instead of Cream).
I went too fast. Forests' don't have cream in the AC, so you're right it's a mealy. Also, I don't think it's a grullo since Mealy doesn't really show up on Black bases from what I've been gathering in the other thread (altho that could be wrong since it's Dun). In any case, I still stand by it being a Brown Dun even if that previous statement is false.

Re: What colours are these 3?
You are absolutely right about mealy not showing on black. I completely forgot about that. I correct my first guess to "bay dun", however. :PDevolare wrote:I think we might both be wrong. x'D

Re: What colours are these 3?
I know they say that Brown Dun Forest Horses don't exist in the AC (at least it's not listed), but I still think it's a Brown Dun. At least it looks exactly like most of the Brown Duns I've seen. If it is a bay, then that's going to really mess with my head. Plus, I thought only Mealy Browns turned yellow like that around the nose? I'd really like to see what his foals look like.nyraeia wrote:You are absolutely right about mealy not showing on black. I completely forgot about that. Re: What colours are these 3?
I think it might have silver too. The mane is a little light and since the mother has silver, that'd be my guess.nyraeia wrote:Perlino. Dunalino (Perlino + Dun) to be exact
