HWO Etiquette Guide
I would love to see a big brain storm on what is good HWO etiquette from the veterans, or at the very least a-things-not-to-do list for us socially inept individuals.
I love just about everything about HWO! Absolute favorite game. If they sold merch, I'd be decked head to toe.
For a game with few rules, we seem to get pretty worked up when other don't play our way. It makes for a bit of an intimidating environment. It's hard to get involved in the community when there's unwritten rules to break.

The only rule I can think of is that if a player reserves a horse they are selling for another player or their 2nd account then you should not buy that horse unless you are the person they are reserving it for.

People always get worked up when others don't play by their rules, but everyone can play as they like.Vaxxine wrote:For a game with few rules, we seem to get pretty worked up when other don't play our way. While I understand where you're coming from, there isn't anything actual wrong about intercepting horses. It hurts terribly to have a horse taken, but that's the gamble. As nice and shiny as some of the new features are, I believe we are grossly overdue for a private sales update; players have been requesting it since open and I think it's a feature that is much more useful and desirable than anything that's been added already.Kayaine wrote:The only rule I can think of is that if a player reserves a horse they are selling for another player or their 2nd account then you should not buy that horse unless you are the person they are reserving it for.

Agreed! Maybe private studs as well? So instead of your amazing 60k stud beiong bred from by every tom, * and harry, reserve it for a certain player?
