Now most of my original 1st gens have aged out, I thought it was time to create a personal log so I (and anyone else who cares to) can see the visual progress of my Dartmoor herd.
I don't know if I was the first breeder of Dartmoors, only that there were none when I started back in January and am proud of my progress so far.

Current Breeding Goals
Working on breeding to conformation based on the breed standards set out by the Dartmoor Pony Society*.
Focusing first on the more obvious physical characteristics - colour, mane and tail. Also working on breeding out all dun genes as quickly as possible while introducing more chestnut, brown and roan genes into my herd.

Other Current/Potential Dartmoor Breeders
While I'm not looking for any breeding partner, I do want to help and encourage other Dartmoor breeders. All of my ArabianxWMP stallions are put up for stud and much of my space is currently dedicated to hopefully creating a few new WMP lines to bring down COI.
A sales pasture for my unwanted Dartmoors will soon be added but, as I am currently breeding for mane and tail traits, foals will rarely be available.

While I initially showed my more promising foundation and Exmoors, now I have a Dartmoor population I've switched to only showing my purebred Dartmoors. I don't show heavily (entering only every ~1 game years) and as it is all very relative I'll only note more notable accomplishments, such as world records.
