So how long can I expect this to go on???

Indefinitely if she's always in foal.

I have a RL horse that 30 and have had RL horses live into their late thirties. The oldest ever recorded was 62. So it is not unheard of in RL.

Your horse looks great for 40. LOL

She still alive because you keep her pregnant. There's a bug that stops mare from dying if they're in foal.

I have had at least one mare die the same day her foal was born.
