Fawn Ping
Hey there! I saw that you bought one of vanner and just had to nose around (Fawn wrote:Ping!

I'm hoping to incorporate some stats that are more geared towards western disciplines as I work on my new line, and maybe even eventually hunter.
I do have a tendency to "disappear" for portions of time and not age my horses up or compete/train depending on life, but I always log in at least every week or so to see if I have any pings and to check on studs (: So if you don't see a not of progress on my farm don't get scared! lol

Re: Fawn Ping
Hi thanks for the ping! It's good to know there's a (semi) active experienced Vanner breeder here (I also come and go from sim sitesRoyalCrownAcres wrote: βSat Aug 30, 2025 6:46 pmHey there! I saw that you bought one of vanner and just had to nose around (Fawn wrote:Ping!) I saw on your farm that you seem to be focusing on vanners! My main project is high-movement vanners, and I recently started working on breeding a line of vanners from scratch (no where near a vanner yet, but we're getting there!). If you see any stallions on my farm that you want a breeding from or if you want a foal from one of my mares (<15 years, we'll say) just let me know! I'd love to help another vanner breeder out!

Best of luck on your project! I briefly explored the idea of trying to create some Vanners from scratch but found it all a bit daunting, but I'd like to have another go down the road once I've familiarized myself with the game more. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on your progress!

Re: Fawn Ping
I've been playing since 2017 and vanner's have never really had an active community. I'm glad to see someone else on here!Fawn wrote: βSat Aug 30, 2025 11:54 pmHi thanks for the ping! I may take you up on your offer for studs as there aren't too many on the market atm that fit what I'm looking for, but yours look gorgeous and I gotta keep my family tree's from becoming circles as I didn't plan ahead very well lol

BlackOak2 tends to post a TON of helpful stuff for any and all players in the forums, so if you have any questions that aren't vanner specific, search their name up in the forums and chances are you'll find an above and beyond answer! There are a few other players that are just as helpful as BlackOak, but the 2 I'm thinking of are no longer active and I cannot for the life of me remember their names at the moment

Most of my vanners are related, as they all decent from stock bought from 3 accounts (mainly 1) that don't play anymore in... 2020? I've really been working hard on trying to get them their pedigrees to be little less circular, hence why I'm breeding some from scratch (:
If you need anything, Don't hesitate to reach out!

Yes I've been meaning to have a proper look through some guides, I've been putting that off
Glad I'm not the only one, its an easy trap to fall into! I'm not concerning myself too much with COI for the time being (just trying to avoid inbreeding in my own herd) that's gonna be future me problem, my hope is that there will be an influx of returning players when the art update is released which might bring a bit more variety back into the vanner project
I'll definitely be keeping an eye on your sales, I'm nearly always on the hunt for new broodmares, I just need to clear some space first!

Re: Fawn Ping
I'm also hoping the art update gets some people more active! I am a little worried I'm going to have some conformationally crazy horses for a while thoughFawn wrote: βSun Sep 07, 2025 9:45 pmSorry for the late response, haven't been too active this week!RoyalCrownAcres wrote: βMon Sep 01, 2025 12:49 am
