Saddleseat temperament?
Hey everyone! I have finally gotten back to working on my saddleseat line, but now I have a question. What is the ideal temperament for the discipline? In local shows, any temperament other than high strung seems to give a ”temperament is too low”-comment, but I have seen several guides in the forums say that spirited, or even calm, is ideal for saddleseat. So which is it? And if it is high strung (as I suspect) HOW high strung should the horse be? Should it be maxed out? Or right at the edge between high strung and spirited? Please let me know if you have any insight into this!
