Hey everyone! I've been playing the game for a few months now, and I thought I'd share some of the things that have made me incredibly happy and proud, as well as invite others to do the same!
1. The first foal! While not a very big accomplishment, I still felt such pride and joy of having created new life, even if it wasn't technically real.
2. My first champion! Logging into the game one day and realizing a horse I'd bred had a title felt like such a surreal experience! I hadn't even put it in that many competitions, and suddenly it just had that beautiful banner! It felt like some sort of proof that my project was moving in the right direction.
3. Selling my first horse! I think I got maybe 5k for it. It's not a lot, but to me, it was proof that my horses were actually wanted by someone other than me, and that was a really cool feeling!
3.5. Having someone breed to my stud! Quite similar to point 3, it was just this feeling of contributing to the community that was really amazing!
4. Discovering that I'm one of the top 20 Saddleseat owners! I'm really not that into competing, I usually just throw my grinders into a show now and then when I'm out of turns, but it felt so cool to realize how well they've actually done!
5. My guide on COI! I worked on that * guide for weeks, testing my theories, drafting document after document with ideas. I might have filled like half a notebook with maps over how to breed the horses, scrapping one idea after another until I finally found one that worked. Finally getting to publish the guide felt like such an achievment, and the response I've gotten from the community has been so incredibly encouraging!
5.5. Finding the guide linked in BlackOak2's quick links! I really admire them and all of the knowledge they have of this game, and finding my guide among their links was a really cool feeling. Like, I'm actually contributing to the community??
Please, help me spread the positivity! This is such an incredible game with an amazing community, and I'd love to hear about your proud and happy moments here!
