Champagne?
Golden Man

So I was really wanting a WAB but I saw the freckles on his nose right before I rehomed him... Is he a Gold Champagne? If he is, I want to see if I can get Champagnes into my herd.

Re: Champagne?
I'm back with another Champagne because I can't tell these whitish horses apart. (If anyone has tips on this, do tell. I've stared at the color guide and once it gets into champagne cream I become useless. God help me if these guys pick up the greying gene too.)
Silver

My guess is a cremello champagne but he looks too light based on the guide... Or am I just second-guessing myself?

Re: Champagne?
I always check out the parents and grandparents to see what genes the foal might have inherited c:
His sire is a silver smoky brown, you can tell because both the sire's parents carried a single cream gene. So I guess he was lucky and picked one of the genes up.
His dam is most likely that buckskin pearl champagne. Her lineage is mostly buckskin, there's a possibly she could be A/A and always throw bay based foals.
Your colt is definitely some sort of cream pearl champagne then, but if the mare is really a buckskin and the sire a smoky brown perhaps the foal isn't a cremello but something bay based. And the colt's legs are light, and if you check out an amber cream their legs are nearly gray/diluted so if a pearl was put on that it would definitely make the coat almost uniformly one white-ish color.
My guess is that he is a buckskin pearl champagne, though of course get some more opinions! c:
