How do I get my horse to lose weight?

Hi, my horse is labeled as fat and I want him to lose weight so he does better in races. I try to change the feed or lessen the amount but it’s not working. What should I do??

to get your horse to loose weight what i did was i cut all the grass in my pasture and gave him a small amount of yellow corn around 40% and as the days go by you might see a difference but you wont see it straight away. maybe like after 4-8 days in the game. my horse who was labeled Very Fat is now sadly poor but is getting better to the weight i want him.
