Stats and Conformation Effect
Hi all,
I am a new player and was wondering how to interpret the "Stats and Conformation Effect" box. Example below
What do the numbers indicate? Is it scored out of 100? Are these stats randomly generated for adopted horses? I assume the higher number is better.
Thanks for your help!
Stat Conformation Effect
Speed 25
Strength 33
Stamina 33
Movement 39
Tempo 33
Agility 34
Balance 24

Re: Stats and Conformation Effect
Technically speaking, yes, the higher the number the better.pacificbleu wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 8:14 pm Hi all,

The numbers aren't scaled 'out of 100', however. Different stats will have different caps. What we know of (and have proof of), to date are the following:
Conformation | Lowest | Highest |
Strength | 10 | 72 |
Speed | 5 | 67 |
Stamina | 12 | 70 |
Movement | 13 | 70 |
Tempo | 7 | 50 |
Balance | 5 | 64 |
Agile | 9 | 67 |
Remember that the stat conformation numbers are the icing on the cake. You can have a horse with really high speed numbers, but with really low stat genetic speed numbers and have a horse with a red comment in speed.
As for Adoption Centre horses, yes, they are randomly generated within the range of their breed standard. So although it's possible to find a number far outside of their breed standard (we don't know how far outside, however), it'll be a rare horse. Most will offer stat numbers well within their breed standard ranges.
The trick to adopting from the AC is to adopt for what you can see. Height, color, visual conformation and even gender. If you like a horse but it's the wrong gender, try to populate the herd again for that same horse but with the gender you want. For the most part, adopted horses are not adopted from the center so quickly that you'll only have one chance to get them, although sometimes it takes a number of try's for that perfect horse to pop back up.

Great if you had examples of these that you could share as proof.
