૨σ Warlanders

Post by Midway90067 »

I've been breeding warlanders for a little while now. They are going in the dressage direction. I don't currently offer studs publicly (but do let me know if you really want to use a stud, I can do that). I would like to work on another line of low COI warlanders at some point. Right now, my warlanders have insane COI since they all come from the same origin stud:

૨σ Devious

Top score: 40.25%

This is one of my newest best performing studs, with a top local show score of 43.87%
૨σ Quicksand

And this is a preview of the direction I want to head with these horses. Mainly the Tail thickness. Though this particular horse is a little bit to "drafty", I would like to lighten it up a little bit. But the tail thickness is what I am going for. I am also trying to add sooty dapples instead of just plain sooty, and I am hoping to slowly weed out the markings, since traditionally Warlanders have no markings, similarly to there Friesian heritage.

૨σ Confederate

These barns are full of a bunch of my warlander studs that I have kept. Some of them have "unrealistic" colors for the breeds profile, so are not going to be used much in my main line. But they can be requested as studs.

As I have mentioned, I am breeding these horses for Dressage. I am also hoping for them to have Thick tails, Fluffy manes, and a baroque type build.

Hi, I am also working on dressage warlanders, my warlanders have high gp but not the dressage body build. Can we work together on this?

Hey! As of right now, this is a private line (on my side), so I am not using any outside horses. I would be willing to offer up a stud though!
I've worked on this line entirely from AC, and so its a bit of a learning experience for me for now, since I've never build up my own lines from scratch :D

I have gotten the first Green comment!!! It has been a fight trying to get coloured comments. Unfortunately, one of the other target comments is not up to par, so we will have to see. He probably won't be a breeder.
