If you didn't want him to be bred don't put him up for stud for less than it's worth. You can also click a box to where you can approve the mare being bred. You obviously took the stud down so why not do that in the first place. I also don't take this GAME that seriously it's basically a child's game. I don't take it seriously enough to look at the ad, I saw a good stud for decently cheap so I bred him. It's not that serious.

Ok but he was up for another player and that box isn't available yet. It said private respect that please. I put my time and work into these horses. It all comes down to flat out respect. Ok, cool  I took him down because you repeatedly bred to him. Ask next time I might have said yes. That is extremely rude, he is a good stud since his stud fee is so high, if you have a problem with it then don't breed to him. I take this seriously. His line is private. Flat out don't breed to him. Ask. Not hard. I asked nicely to rehome the foals or pay the stud fee he is related to a record holder so yeah his fee is high but I am not spending 2 million dollars on my breeding account being to worried that people are going to bred to him. :|

Unfortunately, since the game doesn't have "private studs" implemented, there's no way to enforce those types of restrictions. The best way to make sure no one breeds to your own studs is to jack up the fee unreasonably high, or transfer the stud every time you want to use it (you can also just put it up and take it down as needed). This has been a recurring issue for many players for a very long time. Not everyone reads the stud ads. By putting your studs up for cheap/reasonable prices and just slapping the "PRIVATE" sticker on them, you're essentially doing the same thing as someone who puts out a bowl of candy on halloween unsupervised with a sign saying "take 1" on it. There's no way to actually enforce it. If you want to make sure your lines are safe, you'll have to do things the inconvenient way.

You can have different accounts logged on at the same time as long as you're using different browsers or you can have one account in a normal window and one open in a private window- that way you don't have to log in and log back out.

I 100% agree with you, I am not trying to be rude at all, I just got upset because it takes a lot of time to transfer my studs constantly you know? What got me the most upset was 1, the horse is related to a record holder so yea, 2, how the person responded was rude because most people do take this game seriously. I work hard on these horses so I would at least like some respect when it comes to this. I guess its in the past now and at least it wasn't my record holder so that makes it better in a way. Sorry if I sounded rude I am kind of fed up with this and it was really late for me.

We understand this is frustrating. I will see what I can do about getting the private stud feature added as soon as possible after the artwork update. Thank you for your patience and for playing the game. 🙂

I would also like to chime in and say that I did not locate him via the stud ads, so there is no way I would've seen that his stud add is private.

I'm trying to breed in agility to my Saddleseat Grinding line, and he was the top stud on the list with an active stud fee. I do try to avoid breeding private studs but there is no way I could've known when I find studs in this way. Whatever copy is written for an ad, it is not displayed when we click "Breed Horse" - we only see a list of our mares and go.

I did not receive a private DM on either of my accounts, and I really wish this would have been handled in a different way. I apologize for your frustration, but I will not immediately be rehoming the foals either. I'm in the middle of breeding massively. That doesn't mean I'll be keeping the foals either. But I review the foals all together once I'm finished or the stables are full, so at that time if he threw a foal good enough that I think it will do well, I will reach out and give you the option of taking it for yourself.

Oh yea I took him down I'm really over it now, I work with some saddleseat as well, totally understand. I don't really care if you keep them, I was tired and overreacted. My apoligise. :)
