blankers' Farm Log (Please don't reply) (Breeding project)
11/7/2024
So like, it's kind of crazy that there are over 300 horse breeds in game, and the fact that it's possible to get other breeds with existing breeds of horse. I never seen that before in a browser animal genetics game! It's like brewing a potion with specific ingredients or something...idk.
Anyways, I was scrolling on the horse breeds wikipedia, and saw the Soviet heavy draft. I remember seeing that as a suggested breed on Horse Reality's horse breeds list in a forum post, and was intrigued. I like learning about Soviet Russia, and LOVE draft horses, so I wanted one. I went to buy a draft of that breed in Horse World, but (not surprisingly), there was none. So, I decided to breed my own! (And in the future, sell Soviet drafts for anyone to buy!)
This post isn't going to be all fancy/complicated, I don't want it to, and plus, I don't feel like spending hours making and editing posts just like how I used to do in Flight Rising.
Day 1 (technically day 2): New Beginnings.
The horses I currently have are:
Bell (My Belgian draft stallion/First adopted horse)
Choco (A mare forest horse)
Grinder (Placeholder name for my Forest Belgian colt)
Two unnamed Tarpan mares
and Stud (Placeholder name for my second Belgian draft stallion)
Here's the list revolving said horses for this project:
Step 1: X
Forest Belgian O
Tarpan Belgian X = Another Male Belgian & Female Tarpans
Female Norman Cob X
Step 2: X
Female Norman Cob X & Forest Belgian O
Percheron X
Step 3: X
Female Belgian or another Male Belgian X & Percheron X
The Xs and Os are basically the 'no' and 'yes' of this list.
Currently, I'm on step 1. I need to successfully breed a female Norman Cob, since I already have a Forest Belgian draft which
happened to be male. I will be using Stud and the two (possibly 3) Tarpan mares listed above for step 1. Sorry if the list is hard to read, I made it in Notepad.
Hopefully I could get step 1 done in at most 2 days, starting from Thursday tonight.
