Add Birth Temperament to the Breeders Report
It is my understanding that a horses birth temperament is genetic, and can be changed a certain amount by feeding. Regardless of the fed temperament- the birth temperament has a far stronger effect in competitions, so wouldn't it make sense to have the temperament the foal displays at birth part of the breeders report? You could even be a little more granular in the description than the side bar without breaking it down to numbers.
For Example:
This filly's so High Strung the other foals can't get near her. (completely High Strung)
This Filly is High Strung, but predictable enough to herd where you need her to be. (Middle end)
This filly isn't as High Strung as I first though.(High Strung closer to Spirited)
or:
He's noticing the yapping dog, and completely ignoring her. (Bombproof closer to Calm)
He's doesn't even react to a trumpet, you could pasture him next to a highway. (middle of Bombproof)
He seemed like he was stone deaf till I shook the oats bucket/milk bottle. (completely Bombproof)
I'm sure better examples could brought up by the community, but this is good enough to illustrate my suggestion.

Re: Add Birth Temperament to the Breeders Report
Temperament is genetic and the birth temperament genes are what is used in breeding. Feeding can change temperament and that is what is used for competitions.
Putting the temperament at birth in the breeders report isn't a bad idea though. As for the sidebar we are planning to give more granular information and more details as we would like to make breeding for temperament more important.
