Can I use Part X's to create a new breed?

Can I use Part X's to create a new breed?

I am trying to create Suffolk Punches. To create them I need [Thoroughbred x Welsh Cob] X [Norfolk Trotter x Belgian].
I find that the TB's and Norfolk Trotter's are too light, so to get (almost) enough heaviness I breed them again to the welshies and belgians, to get Part Welsh Cob X TB's and Part Belgian X Norfolk Trotter's. I was wondering if there was a chance of breeding these part horses to get a suffock punch, or does it have to be exactly half of each breed?

You can use part and mixed and half horses to create new breeds! Its very useful to do things like you are to get the right mix happening. :)
