Although there does appear to be pearl in the line, I think this one is just a straight palomino, with a gorgeously strong pangare.

But that's my opinion.

Gorgeous little foal though! Very nice! :D

Just look at the photos of the baby, I was expecting a gray but that didn't happen and Nickel Trigger turned Out chestnut to some sort of bay color.

I mean you did try to breed a chestnut paint to a palomino paint so it ended up as a palomino paint and babies are more likely, for some reason, are to take over there sires genetic features. So in my book it would be quite obvious that the baby would turn out that way in my opinion. But anyways I hope you enjoy your foal, other than the coloring if you dislike it.

I would guess the foal will probably grey/varnish until he looks like his sire. I could be totally wrong tho

Horses actually change color throughout their entire lives.

Here is what my Kabardas look like at around age 4:

And this is what they look like when they are in their late teens/early 20's:

So as besthorsebreeder said, your horse will probably change overtime. Hope this helps!

Just to let you know. In this game, the color 'favoritism' doesn't 'usually' come from the sire. Although it does appear that a horse may 'throw around' a particular color gene more often than another it may have, it's supposed to be the luck of the coin flip. At least on the game. Real life may be a bit different.
The only thing we have confirmed that defines differently between our two genders in HWO is the fact that fillies and mares do have a slight disadvantage overall to their colt and stallion counterparts.

Your stallion was born a red dun blanket, that's chestnut with a dun gene and Lp (and tiger eye). *Note: Red Dun is often used to refer to a bay with the dun gene in real life. Most specifically a Blood Bay.*
Your mare appears to be a smoky silver dapple tobiano (and tiger eye).

You can get cream and dun from this cross as well as tobiano, Lp and silver. Your colors (depending on what the stallion may still hid) could be chestnut, black or agouti (agouti being bay, brown and wild bay).

So your foal turned out to've inherited a bay gene from his sire, so you know the sire carries at least one agouti gene of bay. He appears to have a mild form of dun, but that may be just the leopard varnish, I don't really see much sign of dun, but I could be wrong with that. And he's got both the Lp and the To (and tiger eye).
He will eventually look like his sire, or similar. That is what the Lp varnish does to these horses. By careful breeding, you can make the varnish stronger and come in earlier or make it weaker and come in much later.

So, none of your horses are 'Gray', as in the graying gene. Your stud and his colt are varnishing from Lp. And your mare is a silver dapple girl, from the silver gene when paired with black.

All in all, a nice group of horses. :D Congralations.
