Add all the stats up to reach 140.
Anything under 140 can do well but it seems less likely and then I try for gold stamina green seems okay and no colour is eh but like the numbers you can go without it but gold seems easier for faster times. Same with HGP higher= easier. Lower isn’t impossible just the higher makes it easier to get better times. And then also the build. I exclusively use Light build not VL. VL can do good but again Light seems a bit better. So all that together makes better times.

I look at conformation as it correlates to BR and never alone. If I'm in a good spot I get more picky but, for example, I'd never rehome a mare with 49 speed and a gold comment, because that's pretty nuts. A horse with 50+ speed and no gold gets the boot instantly.
I keep mares with green stamina comments and score test them just like the others. Often they end up better than the mares with gold stamina for whatever reason. Could be that the endurance weight is too high in them and they just don't cut it as racers.
I test mares at any age 3+ at the same weight/temperament. I test stallions whenever I finish training them.
I only keep bombproof horses when I am adjusting a project and introduce new lines. Once it's stable I do not.
Camping Notes
Training Notes
Guide(s)
1. Walk, lunge on flat, 20 min after 3-4 turns can go up to 30 min and stop at 25% stamina
2. Collection and implosion, Arena, however long, do till maxed intelligence
3. arena, walk, ground poles till maxed movement
4. arena, walk, jumping obstacles do till maxed
5. lunge on flat, arena, Gallop max out
Weight/Temperament:
To lower a horse's weight decrease the percentage of feed it is receiving. The total is located right above the "protein" bar under the feed. Put horses in the barn at 2 years, and it is easier to adjust weight and temperament. If you want the horses to lose wight lower the percentage to about 95-90% then once to the weight you want, but the feed back up to 100%.
Here is the order the weights go:
poor, very thin, thin, moderate thin, moderate, mod fleshy, fleshy, fat, V fat
To lower the temperament have the horse eat more fiber [grass, hay, alfalfa, etc] and to have it raised have the horse eat more sugar [Sweet feed and yellow corn]. Keep in mind it will not always change, especially Bomb proof horses, but it can!
If you go up to the header titled "Feeding" then click on the question mark it will show you what is high in fiber and what is low is sugar, vise versa

"I have a theory mind you its not entirely proven/certain but I think the comments to an extent are genetic so a secretariat is more likely to produce another but should pass the gene. Its... complicated but my most simplistic advice is to breed your secretariat to fastest four/quick/wind mares until you get another secretariat colt who will have a 50/50 chance of either being the same or better than his sire for producing more secretariat comments if he’s better he can eventually sire a racecar"
