Question about breeding/aging/2nd account
I have a mare who is aging out, and I would like to set up one of my two accounts to preserve good horses, and prevent them from aging out and dying.
My question: what about pregnancy? If I bred the mare and moved her to my "Valhalla" account, where time is stopped - would she eventually give birth, or remain pregnant eternally?
If so, how do players approach the preservation of mares? Move them between accounts so they live in Valhalla when they're not actively gestating?
thanks in advance for any insight. I am trying to figure out how best to use my two accounts.

Re: Question about breeding/aging/2nd account
Also, if you want to keep training a horse you want to preserve - do you move him out of Valhalla to the other account to do the training, then move him back afterward?

Re: Question about breeding/aging/2nd account
Hi there! I'm no expert, but I can share what I do.
For a pregnant mare to progress, you must advance days. I don't believe mares in foal have been programmed to pass away yet, so as long as you keep your mare pregnant [breed the same day she foals], you can keep advancing days and she'll continue to age and foal, but won't die. No need to transfer her to a Valhalla account.
To train, you'll have to advance the day to refresh their fatigue. So unless you are using the technique described above with a pregnant mare, and old horse will continue to age and/or die. I think horses can only compete up to age 20, so training after age 20 has little competitive value.
This is how I manage two accounts:
Main Account
Vaxxine
Player Bonus: All
Upgraded: Not at the moment
Used for: training, testing, breeding, local shows.
Skills: training [all sections], broodmare capacity, and herd size.
How I use it: Advance day, local show until I win back a day, train for rest of day, repeat. Substitute training for breeding when needed.
Secondary Account
Theestate
Player Bonus: exp +50%, double max days
Upgraded: Yes
Used for: studs, sales, shows, retirement
Skills: shows, stud capacity & herd size.
How I use it: Do not advance days. Host studs, shows, sales & record holder retirement. Transfer in and out as needed.
Every now and then I'll free up space on my main account, then transfer my entire secondary stable save for one competitive youngster. I will then advance days to compete at local shows. This is so I can level the account. I've found too low a level "Valhalla" account is difficult to work with. [no pastures, no skills

Re: Question about breeding/aging/2nd account
Thank you, TheEstate! I value the info! I feel kind of clueless about how to manage the two accounts to advantage. This helps
And, I had no idea that keeping a mare bred back would prevent her from passing away! See, this is the kind of information that is so useful. Appreciated by me!
