This Isn't the Breed I Need
A while ago I bred my first horse and she just had her foal today.
I was hoping for an Arabian x North African Barb cross, but instead I actually managed to create a Baladi colt. Now, my understanding is that since I'm going for the Arabain x North African Barb cross, that even if I bred this colt in the future to an Arabian, NAB, or Arabian x NAB cross, that I would not be able to achieve an Arabian x NAB cross because he is a Baladi (even though he is, in essence, an Arabian x NAB cross).
Correct? In other words he is of no use to my breeding project of getting an Arabian x NAB?

In the near future there will be an option to "downgrade" new breeds in cases like this.
