Money, feeding and foals.
I have some cuestions about the feeding program, money and folas.
1. This feeding thing is a okay thing, BUT i have discovered that whether i feed my horses or not,
i need to pay money for them anyway. Really don't know how this is possible since all my horses are in a pasture and eating only grass and no training or competition.
If this is a bug i really like to have it fixed.
2. I have noticed when all my foals is just at the age of 6months and 2weeks they are at a moderate 5(feeding state), but they need to be feed with hay once. It is justy one time before the foal turns 3 or 4 years.
Is this also a bug or is it a game standard?
If some one can help me understand why it is like this, i will be happy

Re: Money, feeding and foals.
1: Look at your pastured horse's feeding tab. If there is a feed listed there, you can use the percentages drop down to remove it, and the horse will not be fed.
2: I believe this has to do with rate of growth. I've noticed that some of my taller foals need to be supplemented with feed after they come off mother's milk for a short period of time and that when their growth slows, they are fine on just pasture grass

Signature? I don't need no stinkin' signature! Everybody knows who I am already!

Re: Money, feeding and foals.
Unless you are showing them you don't actually need to feed them, they will just get a bit poor in condition after 6 months age until they aren't growing as much. They come off mum's milk at 6 months so I ignore that feed requirement then, some will do ok after that, and some will drop condition for a while. If it is saying you are paying money to feed your horses, there is likely one or more you have missed and they are indeed getting supplementary feeding. The feeding you do isn't a one off, once you change it they keep getting that feed
