Helpful Resource for Colour Matching!
http://www.jenniferhoffman.net/horse/ho ... etics.html This link is really great for seeing how various genes work together! I've used it a great deal to match back to pictures on HWO. The art isn't identical, but it's great for that extra level of confirmation. The site does take a long time to load initially, but it works pretty quickly after that!

Do keep in mind that this is not entirely correct. Pearl has nothing to do with Cream. A horse can be Cr/Cr prl/prl which is not possible according to this tool.

Actually this is incorrect. A horse cannot be both double cream and double pearl.nyraeia wrote:Do keep in mind that this is not entirely correct. Pearl has nothing to do with Cream. A horse can be Cr/Cr prl/prl which is not possible according to this tool.
I believe older studies believed this was possible, but for this game I've gone with more common belief that Pearl is just a mutation of the Cream gene.
So a horse can have one of each, or two of one, but not two of both.

I'm very interested in this, do you happen to have a source handy?larissar wrote:So a horse can have one of each, or two of one, but not two of both.
Edit:
Okay, this is the source I found: Link. Forget I ever said anything! :)
