How are folks using their second account?

Any suggestions on how people are using their second account. I know that some use it as a retirement place for horses they don't want to age. I am trying to decided how I want to use mine.

Ideas I have had are
As a sales barn
As a stud farm
As a way to divide between more than one breed goal (I am working on Hanoverians but in the process I have fallen in love with the TB in this game and could have a second farms just for TB)
As a performan[/list]ce barn (use one for breeding and to other for performance only horses?)

Or some idea I haven't thought of! I would love to hear everyone's ideas and experience.

It's a combination of sales barn and retirement home. I put horses that I don't need anymore in there. Many of them are up for sale. I regularly proceed days and horses that don't get sold (or simply aren't for sale) get aged out and "retire". In the future, I may possibly start a second breeding program on there, but this is not 100% decided yet.

I started off trying to use it as a way to get more turns and stable space. I did the same things on my 2nd account as I did on my main account. The same breeds, showing, training, learning, etc. But then I got premium along with two of the player bonuses, faster day regeneration and double the max days. Now I have more turns than I know what to do with and no time to use on turns on my 2nd account.

So I just use my 2nd account to lock horses' ages. My plan is to turn it into a stud farm. I'm setting color goals for myself. I'm crossing other breeds into Belgians to pick up colors, then breeding them back into pure Belgians. Once I have a stallion of that color that I'm happy with, I'll age him up to 20 (so I can retire him easily if I choose to) and send him over to my other account. Then I'll set a new color goal and off I'll go again. Eventually, my second account will be a farm full of rainbow studs.

I use mine to work on separate (but similar) breed goals. Like you I've gotten quite attached to some of my TBs, so this ranch is currently focused in on that breed. I've just started working towards Trakehners on the other, and will probably stop with that breed to improve it before moving on as well. I guess I operate the two ranches like separate entities, with a few exceptions.

Eventually, once I reach my goal breed (Oldenburgs) I will be keeping one ranch for broodmares and the other for studs and performance. That way I can age my broodmares at a faster rate without aging performance horses too quickly.

Currently, my spare account hold horses that I need to further my breeding program. Later, assuming I cannot fit all of my horses on my main, the spare will be my training/showing account and the main will be for breeding.

I use mine basically the same as nyraeia. I put all the horses I want to sell there, and put any boys that I want to sell, but I also might want to still breed with up for sale AND stud.

It works fairly well. Also because I don't train or in any other way interact with the horses on that account doing 'local competitions' all day every turn for 6+ turns actually needs a decent amount of cash so that account always seems to have a bit spare.

Thanks everyone for all the ideas and input. I am using my second account as a stud and sales barn. Also a place for mares that were so awesome I can't let them die. LOL We'll see how it works and I am sure I will be evolving in the future but for now, this seems to work. Again thanks!
