How to Get Horse To Loose Weight

I have a mare kept out in open pasture because I don't have a barn yet. She's been fine for about a game month, but now she's turned moderately fleshy. How can I get her to loose weight?

I couldn't get mine to loose weight until i got a barn to get them off the pasture grass... so now only broodmares and foals are out

If you use a smaller pasture with 2 horses its possible to balance them out :)
