Train up before breeding?

Is it recommended or suggested to train up a horse before breeding it? WIll that help in the foals stats at all? Also if yes, while the mare is prego can we train her up before birth?

You can train your mare regardless if she is pregnant or not, but training does not affect the foal's stats. If you starting a new breeding program, I would check out what competitions your horses are winning at. From there, you can look up which stats contribute to that discipline and try to focus on getting positive remarks for those traits.
