I just recently started playing and I was wondering if the 20 minute day regeneration means that the days will regenerate automatically? I've been hesitant to use too many days since I'm not really sure how it works.

The days do regenerate automatically but you only get 1 day per 20 minutes. You can choose to buy a bonus that allows you to get 1 day every 10 minutes if that seems too long to wait.
