He's a ray of sunshine, but what color is he really?

A bright golden horse with a matching mane that has dapples. Any ideas?

Double dilute paired with silver on black base... with tiger eye.RoyalCrownAcres wrote:https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2310880

In this case, I do see a lot of creams and a long line of this, so I'm going to say double cream. Silver Dapple Smoky Cream with tiger eye... or something to that end.

Idk, double cream on a black base isn't typically that yellow. Maybe all of that but the dilute is cream/pearl? That would be Silver Smoky Black Pearl, or cream/pearl and silver on a black base.

Seeing all of the creams in his pedigree it's likely that he's a double cream, which is why I said, 'In this case, I do see a lot of creams and a long line of this, so I'm going to say double cream'. But there is a possibility that it's cream and pearl. However, considering his pedigree... the only way to know is if he pops a solid foal with a solid mate. Or pops a double pearl with a double pearl or pearl carrier. If he's a cream & pearl, his foals will be 50/50 for one or the other.Aubergine wrote:Idk, double cream on a black base isn't typically that yellow. Maybe all of that but the dilute is cream/pearl? RoyalCrownAcres has him marked specifically as a double dilute. Which is likely the best way to describe it when the two dilutes could be both cream or cream and pearl.
